I am trying to find out what the snakes in my dream means. When I was sleeping suddenly i felt panic in my dreams, like paranoia...and I woke up suddenly feeling really really scared like if someone tried to kill me. And infront of me I saw a crown (to put around your head) of snakes. What I do know is that there is a spirit protecting me and that have been cleansing my home. But what is the meaning of the crown of snakes?
the crown of snakes was in your dream? In my experience, snakes in dreams represents hidden or unknown enemies, but they are also a very strong spirit animal that can be your protector and WARN you of possible enemies (like messengers). If you felt paranoia in your dream, you should listen to that...pay attention to what or who made you feel that panic in your dream.
I hope you get other feedback
In the Toth Tarot deck serpents represent wisdom. And in Native American symbology they represent transmutation (the cycle of birth/life/death). Which shows a need within you to transmute an idea, thought, action or desire so that wholeness may be achieved.
thank you for your answer. I think i'm more sure of the meaning of the snakes, there is a person involved who was hurting me by that time. I knew there was santeria involved when the dream occured. I now also know who it was who "gave" me this dream...and that it wanted to help me. I found something on the internet about a cobra pellet to cleans your home...
thank you for your reply, it is very interesting of the meaning in different places. When I read to transmute an action I realised that is what my dream meant combined with cleansing/healing.
Never heard of cobra pellets - and if you think someone is "using" santeria to harm you, you should take action to protect yourself. Anything from prayer to getting a reading to see if you should do ebo (an offering) to having an elder to work for you to protect you against any evil influences. Obviously the snakes were some kind of messengers in your dream. You can clean your house in many ways, too.
People burn sage, cedar, frankincense, or copal to clean the negative energies; some people have a glass bowl full of water and some camphor in their homes, some people get flowers and branches with leaves to sprinkle with holy water to clean their homes. I'd say, seek out an elder who knows what they are doing, and the best way to help you.
I'm glad my reply helped you out
