So I went into a little botanica in North Portland and asked if they could refer me to a local santero so I could have my shells read and they looked at me like I was a crazy person, and said no, they didn't know of any.
I was surprised as it was a fairly well-stocked shop, are there no Santeria clergy in Portland?

Yes there are santeros/as in Portland ..... If you can check my friends on my home page you will find Ode Lenu ... she is a preistess of Ochosi that now resides in Portland .... She is very honest and her godmother is the OBA MARIA Ogun Bemi ... I actually will be in Portland at the end of November myself in ceremony there for a OYA ..
