--I noticed this line in the "You know you might be a santero if" thread. I'd love to hear what people have to say! I'm cheating, of course, because my head hasn't been marked yet, and other than purely jocular speculation--what my padrino calls the "orisha pool"--no one knows. Bids are going something like this:
Obatala: 6-5
Ogun: 5-1
Oya: 20-1
Yemaya: 20-1
The field: 50-1
So I know you can't really tell anything much from superficial characteristics. I'm just curious.
