Bendicion,

How do I set my crown Ayaguna to war? I am experiencing some serious attacks at work from prejudice managers at my job. I'm finding out that that I was placed in the division of my employer because I'm a minority but despite that I have been given one of the highest promotions there and there these evil woman who are doing everything possible to discredit and destroy my favor with my manager.

Myself and most of the people in my division have been placed there because we are either black, Latin, or women. Theses two women in particular who arrogantly treat people like trash because of their prejudice and strong hatred of blacks(myself) have begun to target me.

I know Obatala is king of peace but my path of Obatala is king of war as well. How do I stir him up to fight, what adimu or ebo. Some say rum, some say palm oil, and some say gunpowder. Is there anyone seasoned in working with this Obatala who can help?

TR...you made Ocha ..right??.If so you should ask your Guardian Orisha what needs to be done.I would not advise going to war spirtually in an arresive manner (it is a slippery slope)....but more to stop the slander and for protection. If u have not made Ocha..You have a godmother(as u shoud about all these matters) ..ask her for reading. Envy is what comes from being elevated...in whatever area of life...

Yes, I agree... If you have ocha made, you should definitely ask your obatala if he will fight this battle for you. Now, If it were me, I would not go to my crown first... obatala will not let you lose your head or your crown over something that can be fixed with ebbo or put one of the other orishas to work for you. Each orisha is part of your "entourage" so know that they will each go to war for you in their own special way. Again, if it were me having issues at work, I'd work with Ogun to clear my way, or with Ochosi to have those arrows of attacks go back to whomever is shooting them at you. Or with Chango to have those accusatory tongues putting your name into the mix will be quiet, and so on. If you need a specific ebbo, you should register it with a reading. just my two cents.

Thank you all for your words of advice. I must admit that I am very Warrior minded and militant. I am very patient person but this particular treatment has been going on for almost a year now is just really enough. I am a fighter by nature even my oriate was blown away at my Ita. Because I received all warrior paths of the Ocha and some very fiery and aggressive sign of protection and war, luckily in my favor and everything in Ire.

My oriate was so shocked because he told me that on the outside and by his observations that I seem as sureen and harmless as a dove. In the middle of my Ita he said oh my God I didn't know you had so much fire in you. I really am gentle and very non abrasive but when enough is enough, I'm ready to fight! Sorry but that's how I am, I will say that I always choose mercy before war. I am a ex marine and ex missionary, lol. I was so glad if it was Obatala who was my crown that it would be Ayaguna...even more so my Iya is Yemaya Okute, now that's a couple!!!

Being I am a soon of two mothers Oshun Ibu Yummu really isn't one to play with either. Not to mention that Oya said she would be a mother unto me as we'll.

These people need to be humbled because they exploit the poor and less fortunate and they are so arrogant.

War can also mean defending yourself from enemies, you don't always have to attack, they will bring about their own destruction most of the time. Negative energy attracts more negative energy, the harm they're tying to do to you will come back to harm them. It is one thing for the Orichas to go to war on your behalf, and another thing for you to be "hot" and fiery in your life. Most of the time we need to have a cool head, so we can think clearly and react correctly and not make the situation worse. To react when you're hot in the head almost always leads to rash behavior and mistakes. I would venture to say that your Obatalá will go to war on your behalf if he sees that an injustice is being done, you don't have to do anything to "set" him on the warpath. But leave justice in his hands. I have been in a bad (unjust) situation at work and although it's tempting to take action against your enemies, in the end it's usually best if you protect yourself, lie low for a bit, and let them crash and burn. Your Orichas will protect you. This doens't mean you're a whimp and can't take care of yourself, of course you can, but the Orichas know what's best and will make things happen in their own way. Obatalá can be a fierce warrior and demand justice, but he's not hot-headed or rash, he likes his children to keep calm and balanced, I would do some rogaciones de cabeza to cool down your head, and pray for justice, without wishing specific harm to your enemies. Just ask the Orichas to make them unable to harm you, and ask them for justice, that should do the trick. If the situation is really bad, there are some ebos you can do to make things go better for you at work and protect yourself from enemies, check with your godfather about that and see what the dilogun say. Blessings to you.

That was a beautiful response and I do respect it and you are right. Don't get me wrong when I say go to war im not talking about necessarily bringing harm to the other individuals I actually mean in a the protective type of way. I mean in a way where the wrong doers are held and bound arrested from doing any further damage. When I say war I'm not talking about death or harm. My version of war is arresting and apprehending the enemy and binding them and keeping them from doing any further harm and ultimately removing them out of the way and sending them elsewhere.

I'm much to tender hearted to want harm or death for anyone, life is to precious. I personally believe that one of the best ways to handle your enemy is to leave them and render them powerless, more in a defensive manner. I always think of neutralizing the enemy not kill....heavens no!

Hi T, generally I think ebo must be tied to a specific Odu that comes out in a reading. If you can get your godparent to do a reading for you, find out what kind of Osorbo you're dealing with, it might be something you aren't even aware of. Could be envy, could be gossip, could be witchcraft, etc. To know for sure, best to let Odu speak. Also good to know for sure which Oricha is standing up to fight for you, and what he/she wants as ebo. Use the caracoles or obi to mark ebo, and be sure it's been accepted. That way your efforts will have the best results. There are lots of remedies, but some are tied specifically to certain Odu and only work with them. In the meantime, to sweeten your words, rub honey on your lips before you talk to your boss, that is always a good remedy to make sure your words sound sweet to the listener. White baths and rogaciones de cabeza are also good to cleanse negative energy and protect yourself. Blessings to you, hope things improve soon.

                Iboru iboya ibochiche

Eni is correct... and I would also point out that the path of Obatala Ayaguna is where Obatala WAS a young warrior, aggressive and fierce, and he chose to give up his warlike ways because he saw the value in tranquility. Ayaguna is a very hot Orisha, and needs to be kept cool at all times - because the battle rage of Obatala is a berserker rage, and he destroys his friends, his enemies, and everything else when he loses his temper. Be very careful asking Ayaguna to fight for you. It sounds like you have made a lot of progress in learning this lesson yourself, if you live your life with a sense of calm and peace.

In this circumstance a reading is best. Eni is right on when she observes that all we see is the symptom of an imbalance without knowing the true cause. I can't remember if you are past your 1 year ebo or not... sorry :(

If a reading with your godparents isn't available for whatever reason, and you are not still iyawo, throw cocos to Obatala and ask him what should be done. If you are still iyawo, check your Ita - many many times, people are given all the information they need to survive any problem in their life marked in their Ita. If a simple ebo is marked to "solve problems" - do it. You can also sit down with Eleggua, give him a fresh cup of coffee, some rum, a cigar, and just talk to him like you would a friend, and tell him the problem - a lot of the time that produces results faster than ebo!

                Hope this helps...
